Veterinary Practice Manager- The Cat Clinic at Cat Care Society is seeking qualified applicants for the Veterinary Practice Manager position. The VPM will oversee clinic operations and the veterinary care program; convey the vision and direction of the Executive Director to staff, clients, volunteers and the general public; lead and support the staff; interact with clients and patients; and above all, work diligently for the health and welfare of our patients and the shelter cats. This specialized position includes administrative and supervisory work, as well as providing medical care as a veterinary technician to treat patients. Animal Care League - Oak Park, IL
Adoption Counselor- We are seeking outgoing, energized individuals to facilitate good matches between adopters and our animals. We’re looking for individuals who enjoy working in a fast paced environment and find working with people as enjoyable as with animals! Candidates must possess strong customer service skills with the ability to prioritize visitor needs. Candidates should have a strong understanding of animal behavior and best practices for care and be able to articulate that to potential adopters. This position works to educate adopters on best practices for pet ownership and needs to be able to act as an expert in regards to animal care. A minimum of 1 yr of animal handling experience is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a brick and mortar shelter, or working/volunteering with a rescue group is required for this position. Must be able to stand for long periods, kneel, and have the ability to lift 50lbs. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. This position is part-time with the potential to move to full-time. Salary range between $10-$12/hr depending on experience. Shelter Operations Manager- We are seeking a dynamic and organized leader who holds a passion for both animals and people to fill the role of Shelter Operations Manager. The Shelter Manager is responsible for overseeing shelter operations including oversight of animal managers, adoption staff, kennel technicians, intake, animal control, population management, disease prevention and control, animal care and enrichment, adoption plans, and customer service. The Shelter Manager is also responsible for ensuring the development and success of shelter programs including: the volunteer program, adoption program, offsite adoption programs, foster program, retail sales and dog training program. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of brick and mortar shelter experience in combination of a minimum of 3 years of management experience. Community Outreach Manager- The Community Outreach Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Humane Society of Charlotte’s PFL Program, Pet Food Bank Program, and iBuild Program. This includes monitoring and maintaining the PFL Program’s presence within the focus community; organizing and scheduling all iBuild activities; and performing duties of the Pet Food Bank. This position is responsible for the Outreach Team providing a good first impression to citizens ensuring they receive the highest quality of customer service. Executive Director- The Executive Director will lead Seattle Area Feline Rescue in carrying out its mission to save homeless cats and kittens and find them loving homes. This position will be responsible for overseeing all programs and development/outreach work, for managing the staff, for representing the organization to the community, and for engaging supporters and volunteers to help the rescue. The E.D. serves as liaison between the staff and Board of Directors, and collaborates closely with the Board to implement budgets and strategic planning.
